KG7OHLetter

Hello All,

Here is how I think it could work: (Negotiable) Everyone please make comments.
1) Follow all FCC, ARRL, Field Day, CDC and AZ rules. (Minimum)
2) Stay socially distanced from everyone unless the other person gives specific approval even if federal, state and local recommendations say it is acceptable.

Personally I do not want to have any close interaction with others even by late June.
3) Each station set up at Cinder Lake within a 1,000 ft. circle.
4) No GOTA station, welcome booth, invited officials or general public.

5) Each station supplies everything they need, does their own set up, operate and take down.

Campers, Motor homes and RVs welcome.
Helping others or accepting help from others is acceptable if it is welcomed and does not violate federal, state or local recommendations.
6) Use a common call sign. W7YS (if NADXA does not object). Otherwise use someones personal call.
7) Use VHF/UHF radios for communications coordinating on site activities.

Many other details to be worked out.

I plan to be there for the entire time if this works out.

Did I miss anything important to keep everyone safe and follow all the rules?

If there are no objections I will coordinate the event with help from above.

Zoom

Zoom is comprehensive, intuitive and easy to learn. Our Zoom meeting on Saturday went a full three hours! I never gave them a credit card number or any other way they could charge me for overtime but I was surprised we didn’t get kicked off after the first hour. For our future Zoom meetings I will sign off after 1 hour. I think there is an option for the host to transfer the host position to one of the participants and I will if they want to carry on.

Of course all hams are welcome join in on Wednesday mornings at 9:00. My goal is to upgrade the knowledge base of all interested hams. Feel free to share the link.

Field Day On the NADXA Breakfast Net I asked but could not hear any comments that came back about Field Day. I am up for getting as many hams that would like to participate safely to do so.
